ENTRIES BEING TAKEN FOR 2010 VOLVO CHINA OPEN QUALIFYING

Entries are now being taken for the four qualifying competitions of 2010 Volvo China Open which will be held from March to early April. The Hong Kong International Qualifying will still be open to golfers worldwide.
Each competition is preceded by a practice day and will be 36 holes stroke play over two days. Men, women and juniors who meet the conditions of entry can apply although, with fields restricted to 84 in Hong Kong Qualifying, and 100 in each competition of mainland China. There is the possibility of entries being oversubscribed and priority given to higher ranked players.
The schedule is:
March 9th/10th
International Qualifying at Discovery Bay GC, Hong Kong
Open to players from worldwide
The leading four gross scores qualify
US$10,000 prize money among the leading 10 pros
March 16th/17th
South China Qualifying at Harbour Plaza GC, Dongguan
Restricted to mainland Chinese players
The leading three gross scores qualify
RMB136,000 prize money among the leading 15 pros
March 23rd/24th
Mid-China Qualifying at Suzhou Jinji Lake International Golf Club
Restricted to mainland Chinese players
The leading three gross scores qualify
RMB136,000 prize money among the leading 15 pros
April 1st/2nd
Northern China Qualifying, Beijing Honghua International GC
Restricted to mainland Chinese players
The leading three gross scores qualify
