Beijing Honghua International Golf Club, Friday 2nd April. At 14 years and five months of age, Zhang Jin became the youngest player yet to qualify for the Volvo China Open. The Beijing teenager handled the wind and lightening-fast greens at Honghua with a maturity that belied his years, and completely dominated the Northern Qualifying event by adding a 77 to his 76 of yesterday to finish at nine over par, a full eight shots ahead of his nearest challenger.
